IT-AUTOMATED LEGAL
Terms of Service
Terms governing access to and use of IT-Automated software, subscriptions, licences, updates and related customer services.
Last updated: 20 August 2026
1. Who we are
IT-Automated is a software product and trading brand operated by World Focus 2514 CC, a South African Close Corporation. References to “IT-Automated”, “World Focus”, “we”, “us” or “our” in these Terms mean World Focus 2514 CC in its capacity as the developer and licensor of the IT-Automated software.
These Terms form the supplier licence and service agreement for IT-Automated. Where you purchase through Paddle, Paddle’s buyer terms also apply to the payment transaction.
2. Paddle and your purchase
Purchases are processed by Paddle.com, our authorised online reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle processes payments, applicable transaction taxes, receipts, billing enquiries and approved refunds for Paddle transactions. IT-Automated remains responsible for developing, licensing, delivering and supporting the software.
The price, billing interval, taxes and total amount payable are shown at checkout before you complete a purchase. You must review the order details before paying.
3. Software licence
Subject to payment, an active entitlement and these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the IT-Automated software for your internal business or professional IT-administration purposes.
Your plan determines the features, subscription period, update entitlement and permitted number of activated computers. Licence keys, activation tokens and entitlements remain associated with the purchasing customer account and may not be sold, shared, sublicensed or transferred without our written approval.
4. Accounts and licence activation
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and licence information secure. You must provide accurate account information and promptly update it when it changes.
The desktop application may communicate with IT-Automated licensing services to activate a computer, validate an entitlement, enforce activation limits and confirm continued licence validity. The licensing information used for these checks is described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Subscriptions, renewals and cancellation
Recurring plans renew at the interval shown at checkout unless cancelled before the next renewal. Paddle manages the billing relationship for Paddle purchases. You can use the subscription-management link provided by Paddle, your buyer receipt, or available customer-account controls to manage or cancel a recurring subscription.
Refund requests for Paddle-processed purchases must be submitted within 14 calendar days of the transaction date and are handled by Paddle in accordance with the Paddle Refund Policy.
6. Trials and free access
If we make a trial or free tier available, it may have restricted features, usage limits or a fixed duration. We may change or discontinue a free or trial offering on reasonable notice. Trial controls may use device and account identifiers to prevent repeated or abusive trial use.
7. Updates and support
Access to software updates, new releases and support depends on the plan or entitlement purchased. We may modify features to improve security, compatibility, reliability or product functionality. We do not guarantee that every feature or integration will remain unchanged indefinitely.
Support is provided through the IT-Automated Customer Portal and our published support/contact channels. You should provide sufficient diagnostic information for us to investigate a reported problem, but you should not send passwords, private keys or other secrets unless we specifically provide a secure method for doing so.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use IT-Automated to violate applicable law, infringe intellectual-property rights, gain unauthorised access to systems, distribute malware, bypass licence enforcement, defeat activation controls, or resell the software as your own product.
You may not reverse engineer, decompile or circumvent technical protections except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
9. Intellectual property
IT-Automated, its software, branding, documentation, website content and associated intellectual property remain owned by World Focus 2514 CC or its licensors. Purchasing a subscription or licence gives you usage rights only; it does not transfer ownership of the software or source code.
10. Availability and warranties
We take reasonable steps to provide a reliable product and licensing service, but software can contain defects and third-party platforms can change. To the maximum extent permitted by law, IT-Automated is provided on an “as available” basis without warranties beyond those expressly stated or required by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty, consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, World Focus 2514 CC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business opportunity, or loss arising from unauthorised use of your credentials. Any exclusion or limitation in these Terms applies only where legally permitted.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or revoke access where a subscription or entitlement has expired, payment status no longer supports access, a refund requires entitlement withdrawal, licence limits are deliberately circumvented, or these Terms are materially breached. Where appropriate, we will provide a reasonable opportunity to resolve an issue.
13. Privacy
Our handling of personal, account, commerce and licensing information is described in the IT-Automated Privacy Policy.
14. Refunds
IT-Automated uses Paddle’s standard refund process. Refund requests for Paddle-processed purchases must be made within 14 calendar days of the transaction date. Requests are submitted to and processed by Paddle in accordance with the Paddle Refund Policy and applicable mandatory consumer law.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, security or commercial changes. The current version and effective date will be published on this page. Material changes will not retrospectively remove rights that have already accrued under mandatory law.
16. Governing law
These supplier software-licence Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you in another jurisdiction. Paddle’s own buyer terms govern the separate payment/reseller relationship for purchases processed by Paddle.
